Challenge

Pasternack is a leading provider of MF cable assemplies, adapters, connectors and cables.  Pasternack came to Golden Communications with the unique challenge of building an eCommerce website that could support 50K+ SKUs while making it easy for customers to find the exact parts they need for their projects.  I worked on Pasternack while I was an eCommerce Project Manager at Golden Communications.

Solution

We built Pasternack on ASPdotNet Storefront because the site required a lot of custom logic.  One of the most unique features was a custom connector tool where engineers could plug in their needed specs and the site would show them exactly what products they needed to buy.  Basically it was a complex guided selling interface designed specifically for this industry.  This site was also built heavy for eCommerce SEO in optimizing the site for over 50K+ product pages.
